Wacker Neuson Corporation is a global manufacturer of high quality light and compact equipment used in the construction, landscape, agricultural, utility and homeowner markets. The Menomonee Falls facility is home to the USA corporate headquarters and is located on a 66-acre site near the intersection of Hwy 41/45 and Pilgrim Rd. Wacker Neuson’s parent company, Wacker Construction Equipment, AG, is located in Munich Germany.
Wacker Neuson’s local history began in 1957, when brothers Hermann and Peter Wacker came to Hartford, Wisconsin from Germany and opened a small manufacturing business. Wacker Corporation grew quickly and in 1986 the company built its current headquarters in Menomonee Falls. The building has been expanded numerous times and currently covers over 400,000 square feet. In 2008, Wacker Construction Equipment AG (Munich, Germany) merged with Neuson Kramer Baumaschinen AG (Linz, Austria). As a result of this merger, the USA subsidiary was renamed to Wacker Neuson Corporation and now offers a more diverse product line.
Wacker Neuson Corporation’s Menomonee Falls headquarters and manufacturing facility employs about 450 people. Besides complete manufacturing capabilities, the company includes design, engineering, research and development, product development, training, service and sales support functions.
Using the latest product development, engineering and manufacturing technology, Wacker Neuson is able to quickly move a product from concept to production. Computer-aided design tools build virtual machines, measuring component stresses and eliminate trial and error. Quality control and tooling are transferred electronically to increase production capacity and speed and ensure precision. These and many other stringent manufacturing processes have earned Wacker Neuson its ISO 9001 certification.
Wacker Neuson also has a 167,000 square foot logistic center located in Germantown and a new 168,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Norton Shores, Michigan. The company has an extensive network of sales and service staff strategically located throughout the United States.
Wacker Neuson products are sold and rented by a network of dealers and supported by an industry leading team of factory trained sales, application and service personnel. Wacker Neuson’s emphasis stands firmly on outstanding quality, innovative technology, personalized service and close customer contact.
